Jaya was our birth doula and was so incredibly kind, compassionate especially as I navigated some significant complications after birth. We also got to work with both Jaya and Kiona postpartum, and they were invaluable in providing us with strong support both during the day and overnight as we dealt with some health complications with our little one and again a few weeks later when I had another complication requiring hospitalization. They both came through for us, helping us as first time parents feel more confident and helped normalize a lot of what we were feeling and experiencing in those first few weeks postpartum. We genuinely could not have gotten through the fourth trimester without their help, kindness and support. From setting up overnight care, to daytime support, including on incredibly short notice due to the medical emergency I experienced several weeks postpartum, I felt reassured knowing that my little one was well taken care of with Jaya and Kiona.
